Short Resume
I’m an all-round technical guru experienced in Internet and new media fields, with very strong technical skills on Unix and Windows.
I have designed, developed and delivered several mission-critical applications successfully, including the personalised email delivery engine behind the highly popular Ananova Alerting, the popular but also defunct Ananova customisable TV & Radio listings which showed side-by-side listings based on personal selection of TV and radio channels, and was capable of showing alternate viewing times and channels for the same programmes.
More recently I developed at Orange the custom SPV E200 homescreen plugins used so successfully to distinguish their smartphone offerings from the competition, as well as increasing use of the mobile web portal. The E200 plugins set some high standards for the competition to follow, showing some very advanced features: Informational plugins, like appointments, can grow to the required size to show information, and then hide when there is no information to show, but the crowning glory of the homescreen is the a master plugin that acts as if it were itself a homescreen, containing other plugins giving the ability to the user to dynamically select which plugins should show in the homescreen as the master plugin controls which plugins to show and hide at a given time.
I now work at DBAM Systems kernel hacking and using my organisational skills to improve internal processes.
I have particular skills on the Linux platform, using Apache, PHP, PERL, the MySQL and PostgreSQL relational databases, Samba and C++, while my Windows skills include Delphi, the Win32 API and C++, and embedded C++.
I always knew you would make it. Congradulations! sounds like you are successful. PROPS MY
BROTHER.
